I was lost for many years of my life – unable to see and hear the Truth. I always knew there was something missing and attempted to fill that void with temporary “happiness”. In 1996 I went down to the “crossroads” of life and death. I chose Life. Completely humbled and knowing that my self-centered way of life didn’t work – I asked God to save me from despair, destruction and death. Though I didn’t do anything to deserve it, and no human power or any amount of good works could save me – the love and grace of Christ dying on the cross made it possible for me to be with God today and in heaven. Confessing my sin of pride and unbelief, I prayed to receive Jesus Christ and made Him the Lord and Savior of my life. Christ filled the empty spot in my soul with his Holy Spirit. My born –again journey since has been a revelation of the Truth. Jesus Christ is the Truth and the Life. God’s un- erring Holy Word – the Bible is my authority. Today I can have true joy and know for sure eternity awaits me in Heaven. Hallelujah! - Steve Potter
